Robens Sage 3 Pro

The Sage 3 Pro is a highly functional tent in its price range — exactly the kind of tent that comes to mind when thinking of typical use in mountainous treks. Its tunnel structure provides excellent interior and vestibule space relative to weight, the tent handles wind exceptionally well lengthwise, and the inner and outer tent pitch simultaneously without unnecessary adjustments — setting it up in the rain won’t soak the inner tent.

Compared to more expensive models, the Sage mainly compromises on weight, while its usability remains surprisingly good. The vestibule fits a pile of shoes and backpacks or panniers. A solid choice for hiking and bikepacking trips with two or three people!

We also sell a separate groundsheet for the vestibule - using it reduces condensation, and makes it easier to keep things clean.

Robens wind tunnel tests their tents. This model withstood wind speeds of 138 km/h (with gusts up to 145 km/h) before sustaining damage — making it a great choice even for windy mountain conditions.
