For years, Marmot sleeping bags have provided excellent sleeping comfort. The Mad River is designed for use in freezing temperatures, whether you are staying in a tent, under a tarp, or in a snow cave.

As seen in many Marmot sleeping bags in recent years, the Mad River features a shorter zipper opposite the main zipper. This allows you to stick your hand out, for example, while preparing breakfast, without having to fully exit the bag.

The sleeping bag comes with both a compression sack and a storage sack. Keep your sleeping bag in the storage sack when not in use—months or even years of tight storage in the compression sack can reduce the loft of the down.
