A manual inflatable life vest fills itself with the CO² cartridge when the user pulls on the trigger tab. If needed, the vest can also be inflated by blowing through an integrated hose.
The CO² cartridge needs to be changed from time to time. An inflatable life vest is only safe when maintained and used correctly.
