Robens Seeker 2 LW

Robens tests its tents in a wind tunnel. The Seeker 2LW required a sustained wind speed of 125 km/h (with gusts up to 130 km/h) before sustaining damage. We’re talking hurricane-level winds! This makes it a recommended option for mountain hikes, and its freestanding structure and wind resistance are also excellent features for paddling trips in the archipelago.

The letters LW in the product name come from the words Light Weight, distinguishing it from the standard range but also from UL, or ultralight, products—ultra meaning “too” light, a specialized product suitable for certain conditions but not for general use.

The inner tent can be set up separately as mosquito protection. This is a useful feature especially in hot conditions. Even when using the outer tent, the doors can be tied back to the poles, resulting in excellent ventilation.

The tent’s aluminum pole segments are short, which makes packing easier—for example, into a bicycle pannier.
