When entering the Cima Versa 3, there’s no need to crawl—just a slight crouch is enough. Setup is easy thanks to color-coded poles. The vestibule area is spacious enough to relax with a good meal or a book.

Both the front and back of the tent can be rolled up in hot weather, improving ventilation.

True to Robens’ reliable style, the fabric’s waterproof ratings are high enough to handle proper rain—no need to rig up extra tarps. Robens tests their tents for high-wind resistance. This tent required a sustained wind speed of 107 km/h to cause damage, with a peak gust reaching 114 km/h.

The Cima Versa blends features of both trekking and campsite tents: the poles are durable aluminum and slide through sleeves on the outer tent, raising the inner tent automatically. At 6.5 kg, it’s hefty for backpacking, but easily manageable for canoe trips or similar adventures.
