When you want a top-notch hiking tent that keeps your backpacks and shoes dry in the vestibule without carrying much weight, choose the Oppland LW. The manufacturer states a wind test result of 20m/s, making it sturdy for its weight.

The manufacturer has carefully chosen the “LW” or Lightweight name for the tent to distinguish it from ultralight models – the tent withstands wind quite well and is not “overly light” in that sense.

In traditional Nordic style, the tent’s pole tunnels are on the outer tent, and the inner tent is buttoned onto it – both are set up at the same time unless you specifically want to, for example, split the load between two carriers. In the latter case, you can first pitch the outer tent and then attach the inner tent afterward.

This 2.0 version has several improvements over its predecessor, including more reinforced storm guy line attachment points, upgraded guy line tensioners, and an arc in the outer tent that enhances ventilation options. There are also fewer attachment components between the inner and outer tent. Additionally, the mosquito net in the inner tent is larger.
