Eräpuu Tuohitako - A beautiful yet functional puukko with bark handle. The handle is made of birch bark patches pressed tightly on top of each other. Carbon steel Leather sheath Blade length: 95 mm Total length: 205 mm Tuohitako is a combination of the words for birch bark and forging. A layer of carbon has been left on the side of the blade. In proper use, this layer will slowly wear away. Take care of your carbon steel blade! Carbon steel is an excellent blade material as it can be sharpened well. Maintained badly, however, it will rust. Just make sure you dry the blade after each use and occasionally shield the blade with a thin layer of paraffin oil or salt-free food oil for rust protection. Handles made of synthetic materials always look the same, but wood handles each have a unique grain pattern - this means the knife you receive will not match the product image 100%. Please note that we do not accept grain patterns as a reason for a product exchange.
