A barefoot shoe for trail use. As with all Merrell barefoot footwear, the idea here is to give your feet and legs work the way they are intended to. This is achieved by making the footwear flexible and reducing the shock absorption to a minimum. They do, however, provide you shelter from abrasion and small sharp objects. The stack height is 14 mm, and while still in the barefoot category, these shoes do have a bit of structure.
