These Distance FLZ poles feature Black Diamond’s collapsible Z-Pole construction. Instead of using a telescopic structure that requires several locking components, this pole utilizes the same technology you’ll find in avalanche probes: a cable is used to lock the pole sections together. The structure offers extremely small packing size as well as the smallest possible amount of locking parts. The Distance FLZ is a good choice for hiking, trail running and day trips.
