Light, foldable poles for many uses.
These Distance FLZ poles feature Black Diamond’s collapsible Z-Pole construction. Instead of using a telescopic structure that requires several locking components, this pole utilizes the same technology you’ll find in avalanche probes: a cable is used to lock the pole sections together. The structure offers extremely small packing size as well as the smallest possible amount of locking parts.
The Distance FLZ is a good choice for hiking, trail running and day trips. By equipping them with separately available snow baskets, they also serve you when snowshoeing and ski touring. Hiking poles are also useful in pitching different kinds of tarps, and certain tents.
- Tubing material: carbon fiber
- Ergonomic, high grip handle made of EVA foam
- The size number indicates the longest usage length
- Size 110: recommended for users under 165 cm, adjustable between 95 and 110 cm, packing size 34 cm, weight 195g/piece
- Size 125: recommended for users 154 - 186 cm, adjustable between 110 - 125 cm, packing size 37 cm, weight 210g/piece
- Size 140: recommended for users over 172 cm, adjustable between 125 and 140 cm, packing size 40 cm, weight 225g/piece
- Durable carbide tips are also replaceable if necessary
- Narrow summer baskets are included, and the poles are also compatible with separately available Black Diamond spare baskets
